Cameron Onyebuagu '24 Recruiting Profile

As the 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wide-Receiver, the quality of my work ethics and being quick on making the right decisions have made an influence on my life as a football player.  I became interested at the age of 6 in the sport of football when my favorite thing to do included 100 yards of turf and a pigskin ball to catch.  I have learned through the sport of football, that you get what you put into your workout.  The strongest man will win in a fight to make a touchdown or defend one, and it all begins in the weight room.  My academic goals are to be sound in striving for success.  Achieving the highest GPA possible to bring strong intellect to the football field is my goal for college. 

The pandemic, which spread rapidly during my freshman year in high school, led me to a two-time quarantine in the middle of the football season, but out of those trenches I grew.  I’ve proven that determination to be successful at the sport of football, will persevere no matter the obstacle.  I catch with my hands and bring my feet for more YAC, “yards-after-catch”.  Nothing can stop me now.
