Personal Statement
As a member of a military family, I have learned to adapt to new coaches, teammates and homes during high school. I have attended 3 high schools in four years, and each school has given me new experiences. At each school, I had to learn to adapt to new coaching styles and learn to overcome differences in academics, coaching styles and teammates. I have worked hard no matter what the circumstances are to become a starting lineman both on offense and on defense at all three schools. I have earned recognition for athletics and academics each year to include All-Europe, All-Star, First and Second Team All- Conference, and Academic Achievement.
I’m interested in a program that will allow me to balance my studies with athletics and be successful at both. I believe that I have the work ethic and talent to be a college student-athlete, and a leader on any team!
