Personal Statement
I started playing football when I was 7 years old living in Las Vegas. Both of my parents are in the Air Force so playing football was a good relief for me and helped time pass along whenever one of them deployed. My father has always been my inspiration behind football, he has always shared stories of his childhood days playing football. My very first team I felt the taste of victory winning the championship and it felt amazing. After that my love for football grew with my father by my side coaching. I attended my first football camp in the summer of 2016 and was named MVP in the Middle Linebacker position. I also was named an All American at the Offense Defense Camp I attended in Raleigh North Carolina. I was invited back to play in the 2017 All American Bowl in Atlanta, where I was ranked as the #2 Linebacker in the game and my team won the Bowl game. In the Spring of 2017 I played in the Japanese version of the All American Bowl, named the Tomodachi Bowl. This Bowl consist of 42 Seniors from around the Pacific area to play against Japanese college Freshman. I was one of the first to be selected as a junior to play.
My biggest obstacle would be moving from Las Vegas to Japan and not knowing if football would be the same here. I overcame that obstacle when I was put on the Varsity team as a freshman and nominated Captain as a sophomore. I enjoy reading Greek Mythology, cooking and listening to music. I plan to major in Mechanical Engineer in College, I enjoy building things and learning the ends and outs of how it was made. Thank you for taking time out and reviewing my profile, hope to hear from you soon!
