Personal Statement
I am a passionate team player that has lived overseas most of my life, and plan to attend University in the United States upon graduation.
My father introduced me to football at a very young age and I have loved the sport ever since. I was born in a hospital in New Jersey literally across the street from MetLife (Giants Stadium), so perhaps you can say that the first lights and sounds I heard were that of Giants fans cheering upon my entry into the world.
As a student-athlete, I take my academics as serious as football, and I hope that once I complete my Junior year I would be able to demonstrate through my updated SAT scores and grade transcript.
I have been blessed to have grown up in Dubai where American Football has become extremely well established through the Emirates American Football League (www.eafl.ae). I am currently residing in Dubai and attend the International School of Choueifat and will relocate back to New Jersey upon graduating High School in 2021.
I am considered an outstanding team leader and all-around football player by my coaches and teammates, and I hope to get a sincere opportunity to demonstrate my skills on the field at a leading american university in the US in 2022. Best Regards, Wesam
