Personal Statement
Competing in my highschool conference championship was the highlight of my grade 10 year. This was my first year playing football. However I feel that as a person and a student athlete I grew the most in my Second year. I did not start on my senior varsity team in my grade 11 year. That made me work harder then ever to be a better athlete, teammate and most of all a better person. I learned that in order to get that starting spot I have to work harder then anyone on my team, and to never think I can't improve. There is always something I can do to get better and to be the best I can be. That helped me realize that I wanted to be an athlete that is able to make it to the college level.
I was fortunate to be apart of a great senior varsity team that made it to the semi finals in our conference taking 3rd place. But in the last 2 years I have learned the values of heart, determination, strength, adversity and teamwork, but most importantly commitment. That no matter what I do in order to do my best and value what I have done I have to commit myself 100%. It doest mater if you win or lose but the fact that you have to value ever opertointy you get, because you dont know what the future holds so appreciate every minute. I am looking for a program that will be a a great fit for me athletically and academically. I not only think that I have the talent to compete in the collage level but I have the personalty to do to whater it takes to be the best I can be, and make an immediate impact on your team.
Somthing else that I have learnd though my journey is not surround your self by people that are not going to support you, and will be there for you when you need it most. I have had a very hard time with reaching my goals because of my obstacles standing in my way so once I saw that somthing was trying to hold me down I broke free and started to run. I hold family very close to me because with out family you have nothing and your trammates are family and so when i'm on a team and that conection is there is where I profrom the best.
