Personal Statement
Being an international collegiate student athlete in the United States will allow me to reach for new horizons and push me out of my comfort zone – something that I relish. This opportunity will allow me to become the first member of the family to reach the university level which would be a fantastic accomplishment. I am counting on coaches and college to see my full potential on and off the field. Furthermore, before being an athlete, I am a person that loves to learn, create, innovate, invent and discover things. Going to college as an athlete will supercharge me to become the best student and athlete that I can be. The experiences and lessons learned will, I believe, not only develop me as a person and team-mate, but enable me over time to give back to my mother, my little brother, team-mates, fellow students and society in general.
