Personal Statement
My name is Gerardo Guerra, I'm 21 years old and I´m from El Salvador but moved to Panama in 2014. I have been playing football since 2018 as an offensive lineman. I am a person who seeks to improve every day by learning from players and coaches and receiving any tips or advice on how to be better and gain more experience. I consider myself a person who can easily connect with others and build good relationships, which is essential for a team because communication between players on and off the field is crucial for a team's chemistry and performance in a game. I always strive to achieve my goals and accomplishments, regardless of the circumstances, so I can progress and improve at every moment in my life as a player and as a person.
As a player, I am very responsible and disciplined when it comes to training, arriving early to all of them, and I never miss any of them even if I am injured. I focus on always giving my best in every training session and match.
As a student, I am very responsible with the assignments, I always turn them in on time since I don´t like to be with incomplete work. I always focus on delivering each work I do in detail. My goals at school have always been to learn, improve and do my best in every assignment and subject. I always try to contribute to class discussions and assignments. I consider myself very committed to learning. Also, I like to support others and I´m not ashamed of asking for help when I need it.
What makes me different from other recruits is that I always want to give my best at every time and I always focus on teamwork so that others give their best and thus improve at the same time. I never give up and try as many times as needed to achieve my goals.
