UPDATE: In July, 2023, I moved to the US and joined the 2022 6A Utah state champions Skyridge HS football team. The school JV went 9-0 and my knowledge of the game and DB technique skyrocketed in 2023. I have training 2x every day either in the weight room, on the track or on the field with DB coaches. I love this game and look forward to the fall games.

My name is Toby Brown, and I’m half Japanese, half American. I love football and I am a highly motivated player who is always willing to go the extra mile to succeed on and off the field. 2022 was my first experience with football and I’m committed to getting 100% better in 2023.
I live in Singapore, but I was was born in Connecticut and spent most of my life in Japan (dual citizen). I moved to Singapore before starting HS, and since neither Japan nor Singapore have Pop Warner age football, I started playing the end of my freshman year. Singapore had strict COVID rules so we had limited practice and only two games that year. Nonetheless it was a great start for me. My Sophomore season has been much better, starting at CB/FS and WR in all 8 games.
I put in personal time outside practice to lift and train in order to improve my speed, strength, and technique. In the past I also enjoyed running track and wrestling. All these activities make me a better player and teammate.
In terms of academics, I currently have a GPA of 3.9 on a 4.0 scale, and push myself to perform in the classroom as I do on the field.
I want to compete at the highest level my potential can be stretched, and I believe this requires hard work, dedication and guidance from my coaches.
