Personal Statement
It’s difficult to express in a few words what I’m all about and most importantly why I’m the recruit you want ahead of the thousands out there available to you.
I’m devoted to my faith and the son of two police sergeants. My love of football came from my dad who played as a linebacker for the University of Waterloo which was one of the top teams in Canada at the time.
Growing up in Canada however, I actually grew up playing hockey which I still do today. I didn’t start playing football until my freshman year of high school and absolutely fell in love with the sport and thus began my total dedication to continuous improvement.
The attributes that best describe me are coachable, fearless, tireless worker, leader, and dedicated to my teammates and school.
Fitness is probably what separates me from the pack. I don’t get out worked because I’m more dedicated to fitness than anyone I play with or against. I go to the gym everyday, not because I have to, but because I love it. I am a true gym rat.
What I would bring to your program is a high achieving honours student, who has the will and desire to seek constant improvement in both school and athletics. Someone that will never embarrass your program and will make you proud to coach.
