Personal Statement
Being selected as a starting wide receiver in the Australian Junior Outback team which will compete in the IFAF 2018 U-19 World Championships in Mexico in July has enabled me to reach the highest level of American Football in Australia. My next goal is to play college football in the US while completing a Bachelor of Social Science degree majoring in criminology that will assist me in the development of a career in forensic investigation or intelligence and national security. Ultimately, I aspire to compete in the NFL.
I believe that I am a good candidate because I am able to engage easily with others making the rest of the team feel comfortable quickly. I am dedicated and conscientious and possess good teamwork skills that help me to work well as a member of any team.
Competition as a result of a variety of sport (American Football, Athletics, Basketball, and Volleyball) and co-curricular activities (Music, Cadets) coupled with a sound academic curriculum has enabled me to rise to a challenge and helped to develop the physical and mental stamina that I believe will set me apart from the rest.
