Ben Shariat '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete from Sydney, Australia and I am a slot receiver, kicker/punter. Even though I am only 5'9" I am still very strong for my size and have the speed and agility to beat defences. My goal is to play the highest level of college football I can (knowing of course I fit the program well) and succeed when over there. I believe I am a good candidate as I wouldn’t be going across the world to follow my goal if I wasn’t dedicated and determined to achieve success and add some value to a football team. My effort also goes towards academics just as much as my athletics and am solid in that facet. I have played multiple sports such as Rugby, Swimming & Waterpolo, however nothing compares to the Football which has taught me core values such as brotherhood, resilience and leadership. Without Football I definitely wouldn't be the man I am today - with much more potential to grow when in a college program.
