Personal Statement
Hey, there my name is Cody Tanner I am a high school student from New Zealand hoping to Pursue an athletic scholarship in the USA with my main focus and passions are with rugby and baseball. However, I know rugby in the states isn’t the biggest and there a very few scholarships offered to play. Which had me thinking of the possibility of converting my skills on the rugby field to the gridiron and play American Football. At my high school, we were lucky enough to have a trainer from the states who use to work at Arizona University and he said to me the potential for me to pick it up and take want I know from playing rugby to football is there and it could lead to big opportunities for me. I know it is a long shot but it's a long shot I am willing to take and whatever happens, I can guarantee you that I will be ready to put the work in to get to the top level and be a reliable player in any programme
