Personal Statement
My name is Reza Nejad I am a student at Crestwood Prep College in Toronto. I am nationally ranked as the top 50 High School players in Canada. I started playing football in grade 9 and was the captain of the team in my grade 10 year. Played with two offensive line men that are playing D1 both my grade 10 and 11 year and learned a lot about the hard work that's needed to be successful. I am taking this year off football as I had to move High Schools due to moving houses and my current high school does not offer a football program. How ever I attend a private gym in west of Toronto called LPS athletics where a lot a of current CFL,NHL, OHL and NCAA players work out during their off season. I am training with a trainer who works on my agility , speed and strength everyday. My daily schedule consists of waking up at 5:30 going for conditioning attending school and then work out from 5-6:30 at LPS then heading home. I always think there is room to improve no matter how good you think you are and my goal is to be a better version of my self everyday. Currently I have offers from All Canadian universities but two and have been in touch with multiple D1 programs.
My long term goal is to play pro which I am sure I will achieve and my short term goal is to keep getting better and becoming a better version of my self as there is always room to improve. I am looking for a University/College that can meet both my academic and athletic goals as it is important for a student athlete to both be educated and well coached. I believe I have not only the athletic talent to play for a major conference football team but also the character, desire and work ethic. I will have an immediate positive impact on your program and I know that have the skills as well as the tools to be a valuable member of your program. My highlight tape consists of three games (3:30 long) as I had to deal with an fractured arm but I am better then ever and ready to work.
