As a kid from England, people have always been confused by my aspiration to play college football, particularly as I set my ambitions so high as to hopefully one day play Division 1. Despite this, I always worked hard towards this goal, playing flag football up until the age of 18, which is when contact football is allowed in the UK. At age 18, I joined my current university football team, the Exeter Demons and my local club team the Rushmoor Knights, playing as an 18 year old with people between the ages of ~21 and up to ~40. I made improvements very quickly in my game and was able to utilise my acceleration and vertical to make up for lack of size, whilst playing a variety of positions including cornerback, wide out, slot receiver and running back (for my university team). Unlike other recruits, I am someone who hasn't been given the opportunity to play the sport I love for my whole life, and now that I am finally able to use my athleticism, which is at the top end of my age group, I hope to be able to take my skills to the next level.
