Personal Statement
I am from Zurich, Switzerland and my dream is to play football for a college team in the United States. I love the game more than anything else and I am committed to succeed. I work harder than anyone to accomplish my dream. I am a passionate and serious student-athlete and give my best on and off the field. There is no off-season for me!
I am currently attending Kantonsschule Enge (academic High School, the highly rated academic school). I got elected to compete in the PISA-study. I am graduating 2018. I took a TOEFL Test in which I scored 108 points.
In my spare time I like to work out as well as going fishing. I just love the gym and spending time there. I am also helping to coach the U16 team. It is important to me to teach the younger players to love the game just as I do.
I started playing Football when I was 12 years old, which is very young for Switzerland. I immediately started to impress the coaches and made it on the varsity starting roster. I got awarded several times and was defense MVP twice (2011,2012). I broke several records just as the single season sack and tackle record. In 2012 I got selected into the Swiss National Team in which I am the youngest and the youngest starter at the same time.

The epitome of a 5 star middle linebacker. Carries the middle linebacker attitude and instincts. Hits like a tank, seeks out contact and delivers a blow. Makes strong, sure tackles. Explodes well on contact and intimidates in the middle of the field. Possess solid instincts and finds the football. Does a great job of diagnosing what's happening in front of him and throws himself into the action. His football IQ allows him to make plays from sideline to sideline. Well put together and looks like he likes the weight room. Hansen is unquestioned Defense MVP 2011 and 2012 and a 5 star linebacker. Hansen has potential to play collegiately in the U.S.
