Ethan Achenbach '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Achenbach.  My number one goal is to be the best well-balanced student athlete that I can be.  While excelling on the field is extremely important, I also understand that excelling in the classroom is vital to my future.  I also understand that being a student-athlete is a privilege.  Student comes before athlete for a reason and should never be taken for granted.  Taking the next step in my life is a huge decision for my future.  Student-athletes are often held to a higher level in representing their schools.  When I put on my game jersey, I am not only representing my self, my team, or my coaches.  I am representing my school, the students, and the players that came before me.  I believe I am a natural leader, this is why I jump at the chance to study and play at the next level and be able to further expand my knowledge in the classroom and on the field.  I believe I can play in several different systems, not only because of my athletic ability, but also because of my desire to learn new schemes.  I really like to be challenged on the field and in the classroom.  With out everyday challenges, we sit idle.  If I have the privilege to represent a school at the next level, they would have my loyalty, my willingness to learn on the field and in the classroom, and most importantly my desire to be the best all-around person that I can become.
