Hello, coaches. My name is Kreed Boggess. I'm a mobile, strong-arm Quarterback with a high football IQ, which I inherited from my dad, a former All-American D-3 football player and varsity assistant coach for 15 years. I've been playing football ever since I was in 4th grade, where I was thrust into the starting Quarterback position in just my second game, even though I was playing on a team one grade older than me. I took that opportunity and never looked back. Since then I have started at the Quarterback position every year that I've played, even being one of few Quarterbacks to start for the JV team as a freshman. I've been a part of prestigious Harlan High School's 7v7 football practices since I was in 8th grade, having to scrimmage against Seniors and lettermen, so I know what it's like to be an underdog, and to play with pressure on my shoulders. This pressure carried into my freshman season, where I became the first freshman to score a touchdown in a Harlan HS Varsity game ever. I enjoy conversing with coaches about our team, and what improvements we need to make, as well as watching college and pro football games to try and steal plays that we can run in-game. As far as college goes, I hope to attend a Christian university to grow my faith, or at least somewhere that I can find a community in God and grow in him around great people. That's all coaches, thank you for taking the time to read my statement, and I hope to hear from you soon!
