Personal Statement

I ended my senior (2021) season with 50/53 on PATs and 6/9 on FGs. I was named 1st Team All District and have been placed on a 3rd Team All State. I am a precise, consistent and reliable kicker. I like supporting my team in any way I can, whether it is putting up that PAT or executing three points when the team isn't able to punch it in for six. I put in the work to build strength and I am extremely coachable. I have worked with Kohls Kicking for three years, attending the National Scholarship Invitational in Gatlinburg this summer, as well as with P3K and Keith Duncan.

I am a two sport athlete. I have played soccer for nine years, competing for select club teams West Des Moines Soccer Club and Sporting Iowa as well as for our high school team. I am a versatile and flexible player who has successfully filled just about every position on the pitch.  In addition to football, I am also interested in pursuing college level soccer opportunities that may be available.

In regards to field of study, I am undecided, but I have natural aptitude in science and history and enjoy studying politics. My GPA does not reflect my ability, and my pledge is to increase it exponentially. I plan to attend a 4-year university that will help me hone those interests while providing an opportunity to compete at the college level.

I feel you can be a very good high school kicker with little to no work. I like your aggressiveness on your FGs. You have a great foundation and have good natural ability. If your leg speed continues to develop, you could be a special player. You have a very good natural leg. You have enough ability to be a very good high school player who should compete in college with continued improvement."

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
