My name is Jackson Hoag. I am looking for a college that will not only prepare me for life after school but also, give me an opportunity to continue to play football.
A little about my background. In the last eight years, I have moved three times. I was born in Minnesota but due to my father's position with the company he works for, our family has moved from Minnesota to Iowa, then Iowa to Georgia, and then back to Iowa the summer before my Freshman year. Each time, I had to adapt to different environments and cultures. I believe this has helped with my personal development and ability to adapt to all levels of different circumstances, whether academically or athletically.
Regarding my scholastic career, I carry a 3.76 GPA while still being involved with football (my main sport) and track, which I will admit that it is far from one of my athletic strengths. Additionally, I am also a member of Clarke County's FFA and served as both Sophomore and Junior class president. Along with gaining an education that will serve and prepare me for the future, I am looking for a football program that can further develop me as a player. At the college level, there is more focused attention to each position that I can certainly benefit from.
I believe my leadership skills and work ethic can well serve an institution that is looking to further develop a student-athlete on and off the football field.
