I am motivated to attend college and play football at the Division I level. My primary goal is to complete a degree in engineering or construction management. My parents and coaches have instilled within me a work ethic which has provided me opportunities to excel in the classroom as well as the football field. I have a 3.7 grade point average and have taken classes in math and science to prepare me for an engineering track in college. I was the first and only Letter Winner as a Freshman for the Olathe East High School football team. As a Freshman, I played defensive end and as a Sophomore I played offensive guard and tight end. Last year, for my Junior year season, I played nose guard on defense and offensive guard. For my Senior year, I played nose guard and moved to left tackle on offense.
Outside of football and school, I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. My Eagle Project entailed finding and delivering donated furniture for the Clay Miller Legacy Room at Lincoln College Preporatory Academy High School in Kansas City, Missouri, in memory of my cousin, Clay Miller, who was a gifted artist and passed away in a car accident three years ago. Scouting has taught me many valuable lessons and has allowed me to participate in several High Adventure trips including tall ship sailing in the Florida Keys, 2 backpacking trips for 10 days each at Philmont Boy Scout Ranch in New Mexico and numerous camping trips with Troop 122. I consider myself an avid outdoorsman now as a result of the experiences, guidance, mentorship and opportunities given to me by my parents and the Boy Scouts of America. I feel well equipped, capable and prepared for life ahead.
