I started playing football at the age of 6 years old when I was in first grade. I chose to play football because my mom signed me up and then I decided I really liked the game and continued to play.
Our 3rd grade team won the Andover Bowl Championship. I received a personalized jersey shirt and duffle bag my 6th grade year for six consecutive years of playing football. I was also awarded Defensive MVP my 6th grade year. My 8th grade year we were awarded a medal for 2nd place in our league. I have attended from 2011-2014 the Winfield Viking Football camps and each year have received an award for kicking and effort. In 2014 I attended the Oklahoma University Football camp and in May of 2015 I attended the Kicking World Camp.
My 8th grade year I was on Honor Roll.
In 2010 and 2011 I helped organize a t-shirt sell to raise funds for people with cancer. Each year I participate in Relay for Life and I do this as cancer has affected my life personally as I lost my father to cancer in August of 2013 and I had an aunt diagnosed with breast cancer in 2010. I realize that cancer doesn't just effect the person but the family as a whole and I think its really cool that the NFL is a proud supporter of Breast Cancer awareness and wear pink during the month of October.
