Personal Statement

My collegiate goal is to be the best teammate for my team. I believe whatever you do is for the good of the team. Having good grades and good team chemistry wins football games. If we play as a team we will win and lose as a team. A team is when a group of people come together because of a common goal. That’s what wins games.

Events

  • Camp/Event
  • NAIA Showcase
  • 3/09/19 to 3/09/19
  • One day combine event in which all measurables were taken including 40 yard dash, l Drill and 5-10-5 shuttle run. I was able to display my abilities as an offensive lineman with several NAIA coaches in attendance. This exposure was important to my potential future recruitment.
  • Camp/Event
  • Skills Camp
  • 6/16/18 to 6/16/18
  • Intense workout starting with measurable testing (40-yard dash, broad jump, other events) and then into position specific drills. It was an outstanding opportunity to improve my craft with a coach I had never worked with before. During line drills i was able to work out of my normal interior line position at offensive tackle. This gave me the opportunity to learn what i really need to improve on. i look forward to attending this camp again next year.
  • Camp/Event
  • OL / DL Skills Camp
  • 6/09/18 to 6/09/18
  • This was the second year I attended this camp. It was important for me to show my progression to the coaches and to see where I could go from there.
  • Camp/Event
  • Rivals / AdZero Combine
  • 5/12/18 to 5/12/18
  • Event set up by Rivals to obtain accurate measurements of athletic abilities. This event was well attended and let me know how i stack up against others in my area.
  • Camp/Event
  • OL/DL Skills Camp
  • 7/15/17 to 7/15/17
  • Full day camp that emphasized fundamentals and technique. I learned different methods of pulling as well as received coaching on my fundamental blocking technique. As a Center, I do not pull that much, so this instruction was helpful in my overall development as an elite offensive lineman. I received positive feedback on my snapping technique both under center as well as shotgun style. Overall, it was a very positive experience.
