I am a 3 sport athlete (football, track, basketball) at Rockcastle Co High School. In football, I start varsity on both sides of the ball and have since the first game of my Freshman year. I was selected for the Class 3A All District Team as a Freshman, Sophomore and Junior. I also play CB & WR for two 7v7 travel teams: KY Next Up and Indy Select South. In 2023, our Next Up team competed in the 2023 Gridiron 18 & under 7v7 league in the Knoxville, TN area but this year we just played in a couple tournaments. This spring, I also played with the 18 & under Indy Select South (KY) team. I attended the FBU camp in Nashville, TN on April 13th and earned a ticket to FBU Top Gun event held in Naples, FL and I also earned an invite to UA Next combine held April 14, 2024 in Nashville. In June at the FBU Top Gun Showcase in Naples, FL I made the 2026 All Camp Offense Team and received an invite to the FBU National Combine to be held in TX in Jan 2025. I’m a 1x FBU KY and 1x KY Future Stars alumni.
In 2022, I started for our RCHS Freshman and JV basketball teams and sometimes played in varsity games but did not to play basketball my Sophomore year. I am playing again this Jr. year. I felt I needed to dedicate my time in the Sophomore off season on lifting weights to get bigger, stronger and work on speed and agility training since I moved to primarily RB position this Fall on offense, a position I haven’t played since my middle school days. I also run outdoor track for RCHS and made the high school relay team my 8th grade year. I compete in several events like the 100, 200 meter dash, long jump and the 4x100 and 4x200 relays. Both of my high school boys relay teams have set new school records for RCHS and we have qualified for the Class 2A State Championships by winning Regionals in the 4x200 the last 2 years. At 2024 State Championships, we came in 5th place and set a new RCHS Boys 4x200 relay record.
Starting this past winter, after football season ended, 4 to 5 days a week, I would get up at 4:45am and drive to our local gym in town to lift weights from 5:15-7am and 2 days a week I lifted from 5-6:30 am at the local gym then I would go to RCHS to work out with my football teammates from 6:30-7:45 am before school. After school, I had track practice. Two evenings a week and some Sundays, I traveled to Louisville to train at Corey Taylor Sports Performance under Coach Taylor for speed, strength and agility training.
For the past 3 summers, besides football practice and playing summer basketball with my RCHS teammates, I‘ve had a part time job working in landscaping and construction.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, fishing and golfing.
An interesting fact about me is, after almost 5 years in foster care, I was adopted in March 2023. My adoptive parents were my foster parents for almost 4 years. I feel so blessed that God placed is together!
My future plans are to attend and graduate college while playing college football. After that, I want to play in the NFL. Yes, I know my dreams are big but with God’s continued guidance in my life, hard work, dedication and the love and support of my family, I believe anything is possible!
