Admittedly, I have struggled with my grades because of things that have happened in my personal life. I feel like I have matured as a student and a player because of the life experiences I have been through. What I do know is that I want a chance to play football at the next level and I will do what it takes to get there.
I get along with teammates and they tend to listen to me when I speak. In our game against Madison Southern this year, both our quarterback and back-up quarterback were taken out by injuries. When the debate on the sidelines took place, I asked for the JV quarterback to be given his chance and even though we lost that game, he and I paired up for our best plays of the season with two completions that totaled about 100 yards.
I'm gonna do it, if not D1 then D2, if not D2 then D3, if not D3 then JUCO, but it will be done!!
