My name is Dawson Knight Stalker. I am a 15 year old Freshman attending Johnson Central High School in Paintsville, KY. I am 6'2, 280 lbs. My football career began in 5th Grade at Highlands Grade School, starting as a Defensive Tackle. Since then, I have started as both Offensive and Defensive Tackle in Middle School at Johnson County Middle. While in Middle School, our team won our first ever 7th Grade Kentucky Middle School State Championship in 2012, then we won the 8th Grade State Championship in 2013. I was chosen and given the opportunity to play for both the 7th and 8th Grade Kentucky State Teams in the FBU National Tournaments. My 8th Grade year, I was selected to play in the Eastbay Youth All-American Bowl as a Right Guard. My Freshman year at JCHS, I played a considerable amount of time on the Varsity Team as a Defensive Tackle. Our Team went 10-0 in regular season and was Ranked 2nd in the State in Class 4A. I have recently been named to play in the Adidas Freshman All American Game in San Antonio.
While off-season, I am constantly in the weight room striving to make myself better than the year before. I currently bench-press 275 lbs, I squat 450 lbs, and dead-lift 400 lbs. I also push myself in the class room. I have a 3.8 GPA and strive to be the best student I can be. Setting an example for younger individuals is an important goal that I strive for everyday. If I am able to show determination on the football field, hopefully, it inspires others to push themselves just as hard as I have. Even though I am a Freshman, I aim to keep pushing forward both in the classroom and on the football field so I can make something great for myself and those around me.
