I started developing a sincere interest in football in sixth grade. The game has taught me a great deal. I have learned leadership skills on and off the field. I have developed friendships I believe will last a lifetime. The game has given me the opportunity to be a part of something bigger than myself.
My coaches have been the dominant male figures in my life having lost my father to cancer when I was six. His death was certainly the biggest obstacle I have had to face. I have been fortunate to have the guidance of my mother and my coaches.
My academic goals include completing high school and college. At this time, I anticipate a business field of study. i will obtain a college degree and would love the opportunity to play football on the college level as well.
