Joshua Carver '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Josh Carver and I am a senior at Berwick High School.  Being a three-sport athlete I've learned a lot in my high school years.  I've learned how teamwork, commitment and dedication played an important part of having a successful high school season.

The highlight of my high school career was going to the play-offs both my Jr. and Sr. year, something BHS had not done in 20 years.  Being a part of breaking a 20 yrs.  losing streak and knowing how I contributed made this a special time in my life.  I played the position of wide receiver my junior and senior years and both years having a very successful season in that position.  My contribution to the team my junior season were:  1019 REC yards and 15 TD.  Recognition received were:  1st team All Dist., All-State Honorable Mention and in track Div. 2 State Runner-up for high jump (max. height jumped was 6' 8").  Contribution for my senior year were:  1480 REC yards with 20 TD.  Recognition received were: 1st team All-State, 1st team All-District, 1st team USA All- Louisiana, 1st team All-District Academic, #1 WR in State REC yards(1480) and voted Max Preps Overall and Offensive Player of the year for Berwick High School.  

I am looking for a program that can utilize my talent to compete at college level and that would also be a good fit for me academically.  I am committed to continued growth.  I show my dedication by spending time in the weight room, working on my techniques and always continuing to challenge myself both academically and athletically.
