I am a Junior in high school with experience in doing thing for the community. I was to groups for school like the Beta club and 4-H. I have cut grass for organizational buildings like the masonic lodge in Abbeville, LA, and helped with the Masonic organization with their fundraisers and with the nursing homes. I was in KOP (Knight of Pythagoras) which is the youth version of Masons. I have earned academic and sporting awards since the 6th grade that made me push for my success.
I believe I would make a great fit for this position. I possess the following two overarching requisites and competencies which the position calls for:
Leadership – As a student in multiple schools, I have learned that I could not be a follower like everyone else because they would not put food on my table, pay my bills, or schooling in the future. I used those experiences to develop the leader I have in me to the point that younger children and others look up to me. Leadership is the main drive in my parent’s house, which helped me become the leader I am today at school and other places.
Achievements– I have achieved a lot from the 6th grade up to now. Things like being nominated for Terrific Teen in a high school with hundreds of children that are just as good of a person as me. I have been invited to BETA since the 7th grade and was chosen for GPA champions of my school. I won most improved for my classes for my 6th and 7th grade year, and I was awarded with the highest GPA in my class and for honor roll for the whole entire year (end of 6th-10th grade year). These achievements make the character in me to drive for success in the future. I have recently been awarded with the Taylor Scholars Award which is awarded to students that maintained a GPA over 2.5 throughout the year.
