I've played football since the 4th grade, and have loved the sport tremendously. I've maintained a 3.8 GPA through high school, because the same work ethic on the field applies in the classroom. I've learned wonderful life skills by participating in the game since my youth. In hindsight, many of the challenges that I've faced athletically, or on the football field are similar to those challenges life brings. these decisions include important academic, classroom and even the simple day-to-day choices that we all must face. Football humbles you as a person, and helps you to make decisions just as you would on the field, with character, commitment and purpose. Although it's a sport that is humbling, as a player, it builds great confidence. It also teaches you to focus and to dig down deep physically and mentally to push yourself one more down, and through one more challenge to achieve one more goal. Football teaches you to sacrifice for the betterment of the team, your brothers, your family and your community. I look forward to playing at the most competitive level possible, and hope to have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level.
