Hello my name is Marcus Jacob Jr. I am from New Iberia, Louisiana and I play football for Catholic High New Iberia. Going into my junior year, I have a new coaching staff, a new playbook, and a new position. Making the switch from guard to center was less than smooth but because I am able to adapt it was quick. I try to play with as much intensity as possible to show others that I might be small but I am not intimidated. I enjoy being part of a team and using my role on that team to better myself and those around me. I am an all-around hard work before fun guy. When given a task, I will sometimes take a longer route just to be able to make the second time easier. If you’re looking for a guy who will take care of business on and off the field, I am your guy. I don’t make excuses and I don’t expect anyone to make them for me. I believe that my mistakes will help me learn to be a better player on the field and a better person off the field. My goal at the end of the day is to have my name on the back of a jersey in front of thousands of roaring fans on a Saturday night. I look forward to hearing from many of you in the near future. Thank you for your time and consideration.
May God Bless You.
