Tyreese Jackson '19 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Tyreese Jackson.  I am attending Westgate Senior High school in New Iberia, Louisiana.  I am the youngest of three children. I have a brother and sister.  My mother is my biggest supporter. I am currently a sophomore running back on the football team.  I am very interested in using my athletic talent to get a college scholarship so I can further my education.  I enjoy going to school, playing video games, and spending time with my family.  I have a large family with a lot of aunts, uncles, and cousins.  Some people say I am a shy and conscientious person but I like to think that I am focused and committed. 

We have a good football team.  We are bringing back winning to Westgate.  I also run track and lettered in it last year but football is my favorite sport.

After high school, I plan to major in a business discipline, possibly finance or economics.  I enjoy math and civics and I have always been a good student getting mostly A and B.  I currently have a 3.3 GPA and will begin taking my college prep courses next semester. 

My family and I are Christians by faith, although my mom does not think I go to church enough. 

I think that I am a good candidate because I am a good athlete with good grades and I love playing the game.
