Seth Doran '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Seth Doran and I am a senior at Holy Cross High School in New Orleans. I am a two year letterman and team Captain. I have been at Holy Cross since 8th grade and have played  football and threw shotput since then.I began playing football along with every additional sport since I was five years old including baseball, basketball,and soccer as well as all star teams. Football however was my first love and I decided to commit myself to it once I reached high school. My dad who also coached me played high school and college football (Pearl River Junior College). My older brother also played high school football as did my cousin who played at Northwestern State University. I guess you could say that football runs in my family. My goals are to play college football on a team that I can contribute to and become the best player I can be. Ultimately I want to earn my bachelor degree and then a graduate degree and possibly get into coaching at some point.I consider myself a leader on my team and am an extremely hard worker along with being a dedicated team player who loves the game. I also consider myself a student of the game and spent many hours on my own studying my upcoming opponent. I competed for two years against some of the very best defensive lineman in my state and feel like I proved myself each game. I would love nothing more than a chance to prove myself at the collegiate level with a team that wants me and I promise I will give you my best effort each and everyday.I will strive to be the best I can be if given an oppurtunity.
