Mike Catalanello '13 Recruiting Profile

My height is 5' 10'', I weigh 245, I've been gaining weight and getting faster by working out, doing training that coach prescribes.  I ran a 4.91 in my 40 yard dash. I am the strongest player on the team (Ponchatoula Green Wave)  Bench: 300 Squat: 500 Power Clean: 300. My maxes will increase for the next year with my training. My leadership skills are high, we didn't have team captains, we made people step up and show leadership, but first you have to earn it. My first year of football was 8th grade, although I didn't play.  I came from Thailand where I was raised, that's why I started football so late. My frist year starting varsity was sophomore year, I didn't have that much experience but I took football seriously, I saw it was a opportunity to prove that I could play football. During my Junior year I became the best defensive tackle on the team.
