The goal that I have is the ability to keep working and pushing myself to get a good scholarship offer from a good school to play football and to do what I love. Offensive tackle is my primary position, especially in the Wing-T offense we run where tackles pull, trap, bucket-cross, pretty much anything usually a guard would do a tackle can. I have noticed a huge improvement in my plays as well. At first it was a little struggle to get back into it with some plays changing and all, but it’s almost like I can kinda map out the play in my head and with the way our coach has it there are rules to every position and if you know your rule you can figure out what you need to do and execute. Going into my junior year, there is a lot of pressure with everyone expecting us to win but what if we don’t? I think that it just needs to happen so there has definitely been a completly different mindset than previous years. Before, I really focused on the wins or losses, like I would assume we’d lose against these teams and win against other ones, but it really hasn’t been all about that it’s I try to put in as much effort as I can and by watching film I’ve noticed an improvement in my performance. And I want to do my part and have a great time playing football with my team.
