I have always wanted to play football since watching the NFL with my grandfather. When I started playing I had just moved to a new town, The league restrictions on weight limits would not allow me to play with kids my own age. I had a decision to make, sit out a couple years or play with older kids, I wanted to play so the decision was easy. Those older kids turned out to be the best influences on me. They shaped me into the person I have become today. They cheered me on because at first I couldn't keep up while running laps. They helped push me to be the best player I could be by never giving up and making me push myself. Which has turned me into a strong leader by helping others to do the same.
My parents were told by one of my teachers that I treated everyone equally. It didn't matter if I didn't really like them or if they were my best friend. I have learned from playing football, wrestling, or track and field, that everyone needs a little help some times, a little push in the right direction. I love the camaraderie and being a part of a team. I have never missed a day of practice or a game in any sport throughout my years. I believe my work etic and character will be a good fit for any college team that I am on.
