Having started playing football at the age of six, this sport is a large part of my life and a big part of who I am. Over the years, football has taught me a great deal that has helped mold the person and player I am today. I have learned to overcome adversity with class and confidence. Not all of my seasons were championship ones however, being able to come off the field with my head held high knowing there is always room for improvement drives me to achieve my goal of playing football at a college level. Having also been on a championship team, I have learned that hard work does pay off.
2020 has been a challenge all in itself especially with not having a season. Instead of complaining or feeling sorry for myself because of not being able to play, I have taken this extended off season to train hard and prepare to return as a better player.
Academically, I am very interested in history, government and law studies. These subjects not only interest, but challenge me. I hope to find a school that can help grow my knowledge of these subjects and prepare me for a career after football.
