I am a 6'0", 215 lb linebacker with a 4.6 forty. I am excited about my recent decision to play MLB for The Canterbury School in New Milford, CT. After much research I decided that prep school was an excellent opportunity for me to grow academically and athletically for one more year. I had received several serious looks and a few offers, but I knew the goals I have for myself were worth the sacrifice of an additional year
to help me play at the highlest level possible. I don't want to settle on the goals and plans I have for myself. I will do the work necessary to acheive the most for my future.
I started on varsity as a sophomore at Fort Hill High School where I led the Sentinel defense in tackles and defensive points. I was also selected as a first team all area linebacker. At the conclusion of my junior year I was the second leading defensive points holder and first in tackles. I was selected for second team all state and first team all area. At the end of my senior year, I was selected to play in the Maryland Crab Bowl and the Chesapeake Bowl, and listed as first team All Area and first team All State and again for the third consecutive year, I led my team in tackles. Most recently I was named Player of the Year by the Cumberland Times News.
I understand that academics are a priority for a successful future which is why I strived to maintain a competitive GPA. I graduated with a 3.17 overall GPA. I am looking for an institution that offers superior educational opportunities as well as one with an aggressive and successful football program. I will consider all colleges regardless of their geographic location. In addition, I will be looking at schools that have sufficient financial aid packages available.
I believe that there should be a balance in every individual's life. My choices for that balance are first, my relationship with God, and second is my passion for football. I am dedicated to all aspects associated with my preparation for competition, performance, and success. I have been a positive asset and leader to every team that I have played on, and I am confident that I will be very successful at the highest competition level possible.
