My name is Kaden McElhenny and I will graduate in spring of 2017 from Mountain Ridge High School in MD. I am extremely interested in competing at the collegiate level. As a Junior, I am the starting Quarterback, Free Safety and Punter for our Varsity team. Our record is 4-1 this season.
I am a student of the game and a difference maker on the field. I have an unparalleled work ethic, attitude, dedication and passion for football. Since the first snap, I have been dreaming of playing college football. I have a strong family background in football. My grandfather, and closest mentor, has been a football coach for 42 years. My uncle, father, and cousin were all offered the the privilege of earning their degrees while playing football at West Virginia University, Frostburg State University and Yale University, respectively. I have attended football camps, at various levels, in the off seasons to improve my skills as a QB and DB.
In addition to football, I have played high school basketball my 9th and 10th grade years. I carry a 3.8 GPA while taking Honors/AP classes. I am a Nominee for the National Honor Society. I have contributed to the community by volunteering my time with The Holding Hands for Haley Foundation, Operation Christmas Child, Beautify the Burg, and the local Youth Football/Basketball Leagues.
