Personal Statement

My name is Aamir Williams, I have entered my sophomore season at La Plata High School in La Plata, Maryland. I am a two-way starter on the junior varsity playing wide receiver and defensive back. My goal entering this season is to build on what I started in my freshmen year and to help make my teammates better. I have put a lot of work in over the summer. I am 100% dedicated to my high school sports. My dream is to be recruited by a college and play football at the next level.

What makes me different is that I am willing to put in the work academically and I have shown that by maintaining a 3.0 and above grade point average. Education will remain my first priority because I can't get not level without having success in the classroom. If any college decides to take a chance on me they will be getting a leader on and off the field and a hard worker.

The All Star game was a success. I was runner up for MVP. My team got the win 33-0. I caught a 45 yard touchdown pass for a touchdown. I earned a lot of exposure from the game.

This was a very good camp. I participated in all three sessions offense, 7 on 7, and the defense drills. The coaches were very down to earth and taught us a lot different techniques. Next Gen Elite Camp was awesome. I was push to the limit in all my drills, I believe improve in all my times, waiting on my results. I went up against the best of the best and prove myself. I was selected as a top performer to a Attend the Nation's Best Showcase camp in Georgia.
