'The first time I stepped on a football field I knew this is where I belonged, I was 7 years old. I remember the coaches asking my mom, "Are you sure he has never played before?" The first touchdown I made that season, it made me want it even more. I have a great support team that makes my drive be pushed even harder. Later on playing for the school, I learned what a team really was. Not just on the football field but also off. A few years ago, I started a program where I passed out "Warmth Bags" to the homeless which lead to me raising money to give Christmases to children group homes. I learned that some of the team was willing to help. We all want to grow as a person to be the best that we can and it starts within and then improve yourself. You have to be there for your teammates, helping when they are down and going over routes to get them better. Not only do I try to be the best I can on the field but I strive academically as well. I want to make sure that if football doesn't work out, I can move on to the next chapter without struggling. Whatever team I get to be a part of I know I will work my hardest and show not only the coach but the team I am here to try my hardest and push myself and the team.
