Hi, my name is Brendan Vorobiev and I am a 6'0, 220 lbs, three year varsity player for a 128 year old Ann Arbor Pioneer HS Football Team. Having been a competitive athlete since age six, competing at a high level and international competitions helped me to achieve excellence in my academics and athletics.
Through perseverance and my work ethic, I am one of the strongest kids in the weight room and on the field. My athletic abilities consist of an unique combination of speed, agility, and strength. My current measurables are: bench press 250 lbs, squat 450 lbs, vertical 30.1 inches, and 5-10-5 shuttle is a 4.26 sec. On the field, thus far I've racked up 41 unassisted tackles with 22 for a loss, 7 sacks, 2 safeties, 3 recovered fumbles and 2 blocked extra points.
This year as a captain, I lead my team on the grid iron through diversity and tough season. As a team leader, I dedicate myself to helping my teammates on the field and in the classroom. I lead by example on the field and in the weight room. My current 3.7 GPA and 27 ACT score allows me to lend a helping hand in the classroom. After graduating from high school, my desire is to not only be apart an exceptional football program, but to be a major contributor to the team. My ultimate goal is to receive a world-class education and be a part of a great athletic program through hard work, discipline and dedication in and out of the class room and on and off the field.
