David Pyke '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is David Pyke I have played football now for 5 years and basketball and baseball for 4 years. It doesn't matter what sport i'm playing I always do my best to succeed, and I always give my best effort no matter what the situation. Of all the sports I have played my favorite, and the one that I am best at is football. In the 5 years that I have played I have become an established player. While playing football I've have been a team captian and have played in various positions in which to help my team towards victory. The positions I have played include MLB, QB, TE, OL, WR, and OLB. I have played these positions to help our team to the best of my ability, but it has always been my dream and aspiration to play as a QB. As far as schools in which I would like to play I have a keen intrest in playing in my home state, but i'm open to all oportunities and I am willing to accept any college that would be willing to give me a chance. What I can offer as a player to any team is a willingness to learn, be a leader, and above all be coachable. I am person who listens and does what I'm told to do. I always carry out what I'm told to do to the fullest of my ability. I am a kind, smart, and considerate person who will do what ever it takes to get the job done. I belive in winning and never like to lose, and will come back and do whatever I have to do to get better. If I were accepted to a college to play as a freshman I would like to play and start, but I would expect the coach to play the best person ready for gameday. I will wait until I am ready to become a full fledged starter for my coach. I am a fast learner and that is why I have no problem in waiting until I am ready to play as the starter.
