Michael Holdship '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Michael Holdship, and I am a junior at Cadillac High School. My primary football position is running back. I am a 4.0 student and academics are my first priority. I am also a member of National Honor society and a Junior Rotarian. I have not taken the ACT or SAT but have scheduled both tests.  I was brought up to varsity my sophomore year and have started two years in a row. This year I averaged approximately 8.5 yards per carry and was the leading scorer for my team. Our team has been Big North Conference Champions (MI) for the past two seasons. I was also named All Area, All Conference, and All State honorable mention.  In addition to running back I have both defensive lineman and middle linebacker experience. I am a very physical player and am known for my hard nosed running. I am looking for a university that is reputable in sports, but whose primary focus is on academics. It is my intent to pursue an undergraduate education in pre-medicine.
