I'm not sure where my love for sports began. It could have been when my Dad coached my twin sister and I in Tee-ball and soccer, I felt that soccer was the first sport I came to love and I enjoyed that into my teenage years. My parents separated when I was 10 and I felt sports gave me the opportunity to deal with my anxiety. My friends from school were all football players and tried for a long time to get me into it. Then my Mom who always wanted me to try football signed me up for rocket and that's where everything began. I felt I found what was missing, I soon developed a love for the game. So I stuck with playing football and I just kept competing and getting better over the years. I found myself loving this game and wanting to play it as long as I possibly could.
I’m looking for the opportunity to continue this dream. Going into my senior year I felt as if that was my last go around and I was content with that. But when those whistles blew for the last time and I looked around and saw that environment for would could have been the last time, everything shifted. I found myself wanting to continue playing this sport because it was now apart of me. It was one of my goals in high school to become one of the best football players Coloma had ever seen and I think I did just that.
