Delshon Jeffries '13 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coach:

                My name is Delshon Jeffries and I am a 5'8" 180 lb CB/FS/KR, and i wear the number 23. I attend the prestigious University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy in Detroit, MI. I will be graduating in 2013. My favorite subjects in school are Spanish, English and History; however, in college i would like to pursue a major related to business. I became a starting varsity player my junior year. My team plays in the very competitive Catholic Central (Michigan) 3A Division. My strongest assets on the field are my desire to compete, my influence on my team, and my overall athleticism. I am a hard worker who only thinks in the positive. I am extremely coachable, and I want to become better everyday first and foremost in the classroom, then the practice field and perform to the best of my ability on the gridiron hopefully on Saturdays. I am looking for a school that will challenge me both in the classroom and on the football field. I have been told that i have the gift to lead and people will follow, my goal is to bring my gift wherever I go. Marianne Williamson once said, "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." I believe it is my job to use the gift i have been given from God; therefore, i will not succeed in life unless i have done my very best and then some.
