Eric Nielsen '12 Recruiting Profile

I am 6'2, 225 lbs, I run a 5.3 40-dash, 22 inch vertical, rep 225-7 times, and can squat 545.
My most important accomplishment is my All-Conference Honors my junior season at the defensive end position as a leading tackler on my team. I was also selected to be moved up to varsity at the end of my J.V. season.
I am a team captain and I am part of the leadership team in my program.I am a two-year, two-way starter and can offer knowledge from both sides of the ball.  I am, simply put, a smart player who can see the picture on the field and react accordingly.
 My ambition is to play college football in Michigan or in  the surrounding states at the division 1,2, or 3 levels.  I am open to small schools as well as large institutions. My athletic goals are to lead my team to our school's first state championship title ever and to successfully extend my playing career beyond high school.  I want to make a difference on my team, both on and off the field, wherever I'm fortunate enough to play by being a leader and setting the standard for excellence on my team.
My academic goals are to excell in my classes as I work towards my undergrad degree. Although I am considering pre-med or pre-dentistry as a major, I am still exploring my options and remain officially undecided.
