More than playing football, a sport I love, my goals are to pursue and complete my undergraduate and then graduate degrees. I am looking for an academic institution where I will not only have the opportunity to grow as a student-athlete, but also as a leader, and a person. I look forward to both opportunities and challenges that my collegiate years will bring forward and the ability to engage with the diverse college environment of professors, coaches, students and athletes alike. My goal of becoming a college student-athlete has always been a dream of mine, and I am confident I can achieve this.
Long before I ever contemplated playing football at the collegiate level, I learned directly from my family what I consider life's indispensable traits such as a hard work ethic, perseverance, integrity, character and always doing what is correct. My early, and current, leadership examples have been with my family members.
Because I have lived in five different states, my father work for the U.S. Government, I have developed a high degree of adaptability and can bond with relative ease. My other attributes include my ability to influence through my leadership actions, ability to relate to others, and also inspire. I have faced different types of adversity and though these have not been easy; I feel these experiences have made me a stronger and better person-mentally, spiritually and physically. I am also strongly patriotic and grateful for our great country.
I am also a student of the game of football, believe in constant preparation, and I am very coachable. I am currently a young high school junior, DOB 09/19/2001, with what I consider higher than normal potential as a OL Guard or Center or DL Nose Tackle. I have above average interior lineman strength and can effectively pull, power block down the field. And though draw double coverage as a Nose Tackle, I effectively apply pressure, shred linemen, and cover the middle gaps against the run. My aggressiveness and non-stop play is contagious.
What distinguishes me, in addition to some of the things I have previously highlighted, is my balance as a student athlete; my emotional intelligence; focus, dedication and values centric approach.
