Well let me start out by saying for any coach looking at my profile right now, I want you to know that my collegiate goals and aspirations are simple. Get my degree while still enjoying the sports I love to compete in. I aspire to become a successful Cybesecurity Engineer and eventually own my own company in the field with a minor in Business Management. Along with getting my degree, I dream to compete at the next level of sports whether it be Football, Track, or even both with lots of hard work I know I will put in.
I'm a good candidate for a team because I like to keep the team positive. I think leadership is an important characteristic to have even if you are not a captain because it shows you want the team to compete at its highest level. When performance is low, you can't always leave it to the coach to get on them. You got to step up and be a good team member. To continue, my competitive nature also makes me a good candidate. No matter the situation, domination is on my mind every play. That kind of energy brings life to the team so they can use it to win the fight.
Lastly, what separates me from other recruits in terms of character is that I know there is always room to learn in order to better yourself and the people around you. To improve in anything in life you must first be able to sit down, shut up, and listen so you can learn. In athletics and academics, my drive for success comes independently. Everything I do, I do to make myself a better person, student and athlete. If you aren't doing what you do to help yourself or others, then you are doing it wrong.
