Eric Kostreva '13 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Eric Kostreva. I am a senior at Ishpeming High School. I am 5' 9" 185 pounds. It has been my goal since very young to play football at the college level. I train for football twelve months out of the year. I lift for football 5 days a week. I am a very disciplined and have a strong work Ethic both on the field and in the classroom. I play running back on offense and Inside Linebacker on defense and I am also a kick returner. I stood out at Football University and Top Gun show case camp. I was unanimously selected All-Conference Back and Offensive player of the year and All-U.P. Large School first team running back ,and First team All State and Captain. I love the game of football. I have the god given gifts of speed, agility, shiftyness and excellent hands. I also led my football team to the first state championship victory since 1979 where we beat the undefeated Detroit Loyola Bulldogs 20-14 for the 2012 Michigan State Championship. In the state Championship game I compiled 182 yards on 20 carries scoring all 3 of our touchdowns. On defensive side I added an all-finals high of 16 tackles, which is a new State record, and of the top five performances of All Divisions, I was voted #1 in the Detroit Free Press on Nov. 26.
