Playing football for a small school like Martin really showed me how to become a leader and how to build a winning mentality at a school that was known for losing and having this losing mindset. Some of my goals are that I want to major in business and have the opportunity to graduate even if it is from a smaller college and i want to have the best opportunity to do so. I really do feel that martin has prepared me tremendously to handle situation dealing with smaller schools, now I absolutely wouldn't mind playing for a bigger school but I've only ever played for this school here at Martin and with that comes a strong mental state of being able to handle games where your not suppose to win and being able to compete for ever yard on those Friday nights. Yes winning fixes everything but knowing how to win and consistently win on a regular bases as well as being able to handle different kinds of pressures and still have that '' we,re going to win every single game'' mentality after each and every week. My time here at Martin I've gotten to enjoy leading my team onto the football field and only want to continue that experience at whatever school im able to attend, I just hope we are both on the same page about this sorta mentality that comes along with becoming a better program. My promise to whatever school is looking at this is that you wont find a guy who will continue to grind every yard on every play until the last second on the game clock hits zero.
